Is it time to make your lifeguarding dreams a reality? Bennington Pool Services is here for you! Become a lifeguard today when you work with our amazing team of specialists. We’ll get you trained and ready with our various lifeguard certification courses that ensure you’re prepared to handle the role and responsibilities. Fill out and submit a form to get started and display your interest in lifeguard duties. Your certification is right around the corner!

*Applicants must fulfill ALL the following requirements before being eligible to become a lifeguard.*

  • Must be at least 15 years old.
  • Must be able to swim 300 yards continuously.
  • Must be able to tread water for at least 2 minutes with legs.
  • Must be able to swim 20 yards, surface dive to a depth of 7–10 feet, retrieve a 10-pound object and swim 20 yards back to the starting point in 1 hour and 40 minutes or less.
  • Participants who complete the course will receive an American Red Cross certificate for Lifeguarding, First Aid, CPR, and AED that’s valid for 2 years.
